English Aalst is located centrally between Brussels and Gent. The road connecting these two cities is the motorway E40. Coming from Brussels: When approaching Brussels, keep following the direction Gent/Oostende (motorway E40). This way you come on the "RING" and you avoid traffic in the city. At the cloverleaf in Groot-Bijgaarden (west of Brussels) you leave the “RING” by following the direction Gent/Oostende (motorway E40). After approximately 20 km, take junction Aalst. At the junction go immediately to the right, direction AALST-CENTRUM. After 1 km you reach the roundabout Europaplein (aka “Den Haring”). Go straight ahaed and follow "Parklaan" (road with a "Delhaize"-supermarket on the right and after a couple of hundred meters the city park). Past the park there is a slight bend to the left, followed by a bend to the right and traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn left. After 100 meters turn right at the fork. After 20 meters there is a sharp bend to the left. After 250 meters turn left at the next street. After 200 meters turn left at the fork. You have now reached 'Pontstraat'. Make sure you don't drive too far! Our club is situated on the left side at number 68. That’s the sixth last building before the square 'Houtmarkt'. At the moment there is no indication of our name on the outside, so look out for the house number. To avoid parking fees, don't park on the sidewalk or in front of garage doors.
